On 21st May, 2017, EU Innovation Club, the innovation communication activity organized by EU-China Joint Innovation Center, held its May event in Hefangyuan Restaurant in Beijing. Delegations from 6 European countries participated in this event, organizations and companies representatives from Finnish Embassy in China, Finnish Business Council, China Technology Exchange, Agricultural Development Bank of China, the Investment Association of China, CIECC, China Association of Mayors, China International Technology Transfer Center, Tsinghua SEM, Honka Group, Deutsche-Boerse, Easy Rain technologies have taken part in the “Innovation Plus” themed event, for expanding the exchange and cooperation in the field of finance, architecture, technology of security, biotechnology, organic food and tourism industry. Many substantial cooperation consensus have been reached during this event.

EU Innovation Club is a significant component of EUCJIC which aims to promote the interaction and cooperation between government, industry, academy, research institute and enterprises. The club plays a crucial role in strengthen EU-china communication, complementing each other's advantages, promoting the innovation and integration in industrial cooperation, accelerating the process of technological innovation and the economic development. More events will be organized by the EU Innovation Club to continually promote business exchanges and cooperation in science and technology, joint venture startups and other aspects between EU and China. Meanwhile, EU-China Joint Innovation Center, as the organizer, will become the premier platform for realizing the joint innovation between Europe and China.
